Tim McCarthy manages the development, operations, and financial aspects of CSA's products and services. Under his leadership, the superintendent team has optimized the firm's construction functions and sequences of work to achieve maximum performance from workforce and equipment and to meet production/revenue projections within budget.
Tim is directly involved in analyzing general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations. He oversees and monitors the purchasing of raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
In addition, Tim leads the team responsible for the day-to-day operations of each project and for managing the flow of information between clients, the project team, and subcontractors. He empowers field personnel by giving superintendents the ability to be autonomous - a page taken from kaizen philosophy as practiced broadly throughout CSA.
With more than 30 years of project management experience, one of Tim's proudest achievements is coordinating several highly technical hospital construction projects that required maintaining a fully operating facility during major renovations.
With a deep technical knowledge of framing coming from 20+ years of experience, Rob oversees all day-to-day operations in the field. He creates and monitors project budgets, cultivates a strong labor force through quality relationships with subcontractors, and creates realistic schedules to the benefit of the client. Rob bridges pre-construction logistical planning and real-time facilitation of the project, working closely with the Project Management and Superintendent teams.
Rob’s career started in Miami, Florida in the summer of 1992. It was then – as a teenager - he started his apprenticeship under his father, John, a Master Carpenter. After Hurricane Andrew, he worked 12-hour days, 7 days a week, rebuilding houses until the schools reopened in October. Working as a young crew carpenter in Miami he picked up the ability to speak Spanish as well. Over the next 20 years he would go on to perform all aspects of carpentry and construction: from concrete form work to trim carpentry, and everything in between. To date he has managed all types of builds: from new construction to renovation, from multi-family to single family homes. Rob has built projects across the USA: from Seattle, Washington to Miami, Florida and has built more than 3.5 million sf as a multi-family construction manager.
Rob enjoys spending time with his family, building motorcycles, and volunteering as a coach on his kids’ little league baseball team.
